All available options are discussed below:
Your Affiliate ID: In this field write your SEOClerks.com Affiliate ID.
Under https://www.seoclerks.com/balance?tab=affiliate you’ll find your Affiliate ID. It’s a number, for example you’ll find something like this
Your affiliate RSS: http://a.seoclerks.com/rss?a=224642
Then your affiliate ID would be 224642
Note: 224642 is my Affiliate ID and you’ll have a different number.
Category: You can show items from All Category or a Specific Category.
Number of Posts: The number of items you want to show. e.g. 12 (Minimum value is 1)
Order By: Select how the items will be arranged. For example if you select Positive Ratings the items will be arranged by their total positive ratings. Default value is Random.
Order How: If you select the Order By option above you can select this option. For example if you select Positive Ratings under above option and If you select Ascending the lowest rated item will show first. Default value is Descending.
Search Term: You can filter items by a specific search term. For example if you write facebook like. This will show only the items having “facebook like” in their title.
Only from “Seller”: if you want to display items only from a specific seller write his/her username in this field. This is useful if you want to show your SEOClerks portfolio. For example I’d write rejvi in this field to display only my services. “rejvi” my SEOClerks username anyway.
Minimum Price: You can filter items by minimum price. For example if you write 2 in this field, items with price less than $2 will not display.
Maximum Price: You can filter items by maximum price. For example if you write 5 in this field, items with price above $5 will not display.
Minimum User Level: You can filter items by minimum user level. For example if you select Level 3, items from Level 1 & 2 users will not display.
Guaranteed Only: If you select yes, only items with Guarantee will display.
On Sale Only: If you select yes, only items currently On Sale will display.
Instant Download Only: If you select yes, only items have Instant Download will display.
Subscription Based Only: If you select yes, only Subscription Based items will display.
Number of Columns: You can select the number of columns for desktop view. If you are using narrow width theme or having sidebars you’d like to select two columns. The default value is three.
On Page Filter: This is for disabling the JQuery Shuffle onpage filtering as seen on the top of the items. If you want to use more than one shortcode in a Page/Post please select “No” in this option.
Show Pagination: This is for disabling the Pagination option as seen on the bottom of the items. If you want to use more than one shortcode in a Page/Post please select “No” in this option.
Writing the Shortcode manually
If your WordPress version is below 3.9 the Editor Button may not work. In this case you have to write the shortcode manually inside Page/Post editor. Alternatively you can login inside http://seostore.rejvi.com/wp-admin/ with username & password “demo” and create a new post then generate the Shortcode. After that copy the Shortcode and paste inside your Page/Post.
Below are some examples of Shortcode:
[seostore] – This will insert “1” item with no Affiliate ID.
[seostore affid=”224642″] – This will insert “1” item with Affiliate ID “224642”.
[seostore affid=”224642″ amount=”12″] – This will insert “12” items with Affiliate ID “224642”.
[seostore affid=”224642″ amount=”12″ category=”39″] – This will insert “12” items from “Facebook” category with Affiliate ID “224642”.
[seostore affid=”224642″ amount=”12″ category=”39″ orderby=”ratings”] – This will insert “12” items from “Facebook” category and order them by “Positive Ratings” with Affiliate ID “224642”.
How to make same design like the demo site
As you have already know the plugin works out of the box with any theme and the button text & icon color match the default link color of the theme. Also texts will match your theme’s font family. I’m using the default Twenty Fourteen theme with some modifications on the demo site. So if you use any other theme the button color and font family may look little different than the demo site but everything else should be the same.
Another important note is the Store width will depend on your Page/Post content area width. So my suggestion is always go with a full width page template.
By default Twenty Fourteen theme has a smaller width for content area so I have done some css modifications and of course through child theme. Beside content width I have also modified the Page Title area. Just install and activate the child theme and you’ll have the same layout like the demo site. Click here to download
I have also changed the color scheme of Twenty Fourteen theme using this plugin. Install and activate the plugin then you’ll have a “Colors” option under your wp-admin > Appearance > Customize. By default the accent color is green and you can make it orange like the demo site.
You might have noticed the demo site has a search feature I mean it shows search results from SEOClerks Marketplace instead of WordPress Pages & Posts. If you do not want to keep this feature delete the search.php file from the child theme folder I have attached above. Otherwise if you want to keep the search feature please edit the search.php file and replace the Affiliate Id on line 21. Currently it is “224642” and replace it with your Affiliate ID. You can also replace the amount (number of posts) and orderby. Currently they are “12” and “totalorders” respectively.
If you want to use the search feature with any other theme you can add the following code inside your theme’s search.php file. And of course replace the Affiliate ID.
echo do_shortcode('[seostore affid="224642" search="' . get_search_query() . '" amount="12" orderby="totalorders"]');
The categories on the left sidebar are actually pages. They have shortcode to show services from a selected category. If you want the same category pages and menu you’d like to import the demo content and that would save your time.
Download Demo Content and unzip. Then edit the demo.xml file and find & replace all 224642 with your Affiliate ID.
– Under wp-admin Tools > Import > Select “WordPress”
– Install “WordPress Importer” plugin
– Click “Activate Plugin & Run Importer”
– Browse and select the demo.xml file you have edited.
– Click “Upload file and import”
– assign posts to an existing user > select an user
– Click “Submit”
After “All done” message you have all the Pages and Menus.
Under wp-admin > Appearance > Menus you can assign the menus to your desired theme location.
– Select “Primary” menu to edit and at the bottom of the page under Menu settings > theme locations select “Top primary menu” and “Save Menu”. (For the “Twenty Fourteen” theme)
– Select “Secondary” menu to edit and at the bottom of the page under Menu settings > theme locations select “Secondary menu in left sidebar” and Save Menu. (For the “Twenty Fourteen” theme)
Under wp-admin > Settings > Reading
– Front page displays > Select “A static page (select below)”
– Front page: > Select “Home”
– Scroll to bottom and “Save Changes”
That’s it! Alternatively you may ask me to import them 🙂
Please feel free to send me a message if you need further assistance. Thank you 🙂
